This document contains information about the kinds of features that a new constitutional document for the Society variously needs to have, and may have.

It then provides members the opportunity to express their views on each of those features.

The document is structured along similar lines to the Report back to Members from the first consultation Round, published on 5 December 2021.

It reflects both the input provided by members during October-November 2021 and the requirements and norms of constitutional documents.


1.2.4 Entrenchment in the constitution of a Dispute Resolution Procedure

It is important that means be available for resolving disputes that arise within the Society.

4.2.5 Entrenchment in the constitution of a Minimum Level of Member Services

Some members have argued for a clear declaration relating to a minimum level of service nationwide, irrespective of Branch and Chapter sizes, and of the degree of physical distance separating members from population centres where ACS is active.
