Anne Clarke/Kratzmann – b. 4 Aug 1944

Anne was the second child of Fred Clarke and May De Prose.

Anne was born in England. She came to Australia with her parents in 1947, at the age of 3. She grew up in Kingaroy.

Anne married Neville KRATZMANN on 18 Dec 1965. (Neville was b. 6 Aug 1943).

They lived on the Kratzmann property, then c. 1985 to 2010 at Windera via Murgon (60km north of Kingaroy, 150km south-west of Maryborough), and then moved back to the family property.

Neville has been a successful country cricketer all his life, and is still playing in his 60s. The whole family is sports-mad, with cricket and tennis to the fore.

They moved down to the Buderim area c.2016, helping Andrew with the tennis-coaching.

  1. Mark Edward Kratzmann b. 17 May 1966
    Mark won three Junior Grand Slam titles in 1984, far better than the other top name who emerged that year, a lad called Boris Becker. (Although Becker did win Open Wimbledon the next year). Mark was moderately successful in singles, but was one of the world's best doubles player for quite some years. He is very likely the only person in the entire family tree on this site to have a substantial page in Wikipedia. And here's his ATP entry.
    Married Zoe Casten.
    He was in Hong Kong 2003-09, ran the tennis academy at the Hong Kong Cricket Club, and played for Hong Kong in the international 7-a-side tournament in 2007. Zoe ran a shoe business.
    They returned to the Sunshine Coast in 2009. Here is his business site.
    He took over the Windera property c.2010.

    He has had a tennis coaching business in Mildura (Victoria), and is now on the Sunshine Coast.
