m. Annie Elizabeth Finney (1889-1962)

Annie was b. 28 Jan 1889, Balmain. See the Finney Line.
They were 25 and almost 24 at the time.
6 children, 5 of whom grew to adulthood.
Of those, 4 had 14 children of their own, resuting in about 30 in the next generation.
Allan inherited 352 Darling St in Feb 1944, when his elder sister Edie died.
He was 56 at that stage, and the last of the four children alive.
After the stove-business slowed to a halt c.1945?, Allan worked at Major's Paints.
That was the family company of the husband of Annie's elder sister, Isabella.
They moved to 32 Terry St, Balmain c. 1955.
Allan d. 19 May 1957, aged 69, ashes scattered from Flat Rock North Narrabeen, where he used to fish.
Annie was proud of never having read a book.
